Yana’s eye
The camera notices what the day is already giving.
Yana Chumachenko’s public portfolio describes more than a decade of photography and over 900 shoots across family, children, weddings and church ceremonies, informed by an earlier filmmaking background.
For YANA, that experience is translated into a quieter editorial language: purposeful framing, natural skin tones, restrained direction and room for gesture to remain unscripted.
Couples and engagement
Direction should create ease, not poses to remember.
The intended session begins with movement and conversation. Small prompts can place a couple in good light, but the frame waits for the way they actually look at each other.
A future photography brief would clarify location, timing, wardrobe, deliverables, image usage and weather alternatives before anything is confirmed.
At the coast
Water changes the frame every few seconds.
Reflections, wind and a moving horizon make coastal photography visually alive and technically demanding. The plan must consider light direction, safe movement and the difference between a portrait session near the water and photography aboard a vessel.
